Sales Policy

* We are a closed rabbitry. We do not give tours or allow people to come visit the bunnies. We do this for the health and safety of our rabbits and our family. All arrangements for sale will be done over email or phone. When purchasing a rabbit from us you are agreeing to the following terms.

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold any rabbit. Please make sure you committed to purchasing that rabbit as I do not give refunds on deposits. We accept Credit Cards, PayPal, cash, or certified check. PayPal and credit cards requires a $3 additional charge to cover fees. We do not take personal checks or e-checks. If you would like to put a rabbit on hold a deposit needs to be paid within three days of contact and the purchase will be put in a pending status If the deposit is not paid the rabbit will be taken out of pending status and back up for sale. Once the deposit is received we will hold the rabbit(s) until an agreed upon pick-up time. If the buyer does not confirm pick-up date or does not show up on agreed upon pick-up time and does not contact us to change the date, the rabbit(s) will be placed back up for sale and the 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Pricing depends on if the rabbit is pet, brood, or show quality. Pets are not sold with a pedigree but we will provide a birth certificate for record keeping purposes. There is no guarantee as to how well a rabbit will place at a show, or ability to produce young once sold. It is the buyers responsibility to know the standards of quality for the breed. If showing is of interest we recommend purchasing ARBA's Standard of Perfection 2011-2015 which covers detailed descriptions/standards for all 47 ARBA recognized breeds of rabbits.

Things to Know

1. Rabbits will not leave the rabbitry unless it has a proper carrier to go home in. This means no boxes, no laps, or plastic containers.
2. Rabbits will not be sold to anyone under the age of 18. An adult must be present and be willing to take responsibility for the rabbit.
3. We have the right to back out of any sale. If this happens a full refund or an alternative rabbit of equal quality will be offered.
4. We do not ship rabbits.
5. We will not sell a rabbit less than 8 weeks old.

6. We do not sell rabbits for holidays. Sales will go on hold for the week of the holiday and will resume after the holiday has passed.

Health & Quality

All of our rabbits will be sold healthy to the best of our knowledge. We will not sell any rabbit with any signs of infection or disease. We handle our rabbits daily to ensure a good temperament. An aggressive rabbit will not be sold and has no place in our rabbitry. We only guarantee the health of our rabbits for seven days after purchase and for those who follow the instructional guide given at purchase. If a rabbit is ill or otherwise and you would like a refund or a rabbit of the same quality, you must have the rabbit be seen by a vet to determine cause and provide us with documentation in order to determine cause of illness or death.

Returning Rabbits

If at any point you cannot keep a rabbit we have sold you, we will gladly take the rabbit back in order to find it a forever home. We will not refund the purchase price and we will need the following items, a cage to house the rabbit, some pellet food in order to properly transition the rabbit back to our feed, and the record of birth from purchase if you still have a copy.

Definitions

Pending - A person has indicated they are placing a deposit on a rabbit. There are three days for the deposit to be received. If the deposit is not received, the pending status will be removed and the rabbit will be available for purchase.

On Hold - A person has paid a 50% deposit and the rabbit is scheduled for purchase. If the rabbit does not get picked up or fully purchased by the agreed upon date the deposit will not be refunded and this rabbit will go back to being available for purchase.

Sold - A person has paid for the rabbit in full and has picked up the purchased rabbit.

Available - This rabbit is available for purchase.

Doe - A female rabbit.

Buck - A male rabbit.

Dam - Mother rabbit.

Sire - Father rabbit.

Junior (Jr.) - Rabbit under six months of age.

Senior (Sr.) - Rabbit over six months of age.

Kit - Rabbit under 8 weeks of age.
